Doing Business in Asia: Japan and Taiwan is a three-week and six-credit hour course. This course focuses on developing students’ expertise in business and culture in Asia in general, and Japan and Taiwan in particular. Students will immerse themselves into local business and cultural environments throughout cultural activities (e.g. homestay experience, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, sumo wrestling, museum visits, calligraphy, and farewell party), class discussion with local instructors and students, and company visits. Students will acquire enough business skills and build up personal networks to succeed their future business in Japan and Taiwan. May 12 – June 2.
